Obituary

George (Gus) Grados,55,of 211 Middle St.,Fayette city,died at 6:20 a.m. today in Charleroi-Monessen hospital after a long illness. He was born in Mckees Rocks April 27,1913,a son of Mike and Elizabeth Kushnar Grados. He was employed as a chipper at the Allenport Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. He was a member of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church,Belle Vernon. Surviving are his widow,Anna George Grados,a son,Charles,Fayette City,five daughters,Mrs. William (Helen) Wilson,Havre de Grace,Md.,Mrs.John (Wilma) Gargan,Fayette City,Mrs. Alan (Joan) Davis,Belle Vernon and Christine and Georgette,at home,a brother,Nick of Fairhope,a sister,Mrs.David (Betty) Garee,Zelienople,seven grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City after 7 p.m.,Dec.14. Funeral Services will be held Monday Dec.14 with prayer service at the funeral home at 8:30 a.m. followed by Divine Liturgy in Holy Trinity Orthodox Church,Charleroi at 9:30 a.m. The Rev.John Kluchko,pastor of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church,Belle Vernon,will officiate. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Parastas services will be held Saturday Dec 14 and Sunday,Dec.15 at 7 p.m. in the funeral home. Howard W.McCrory,funeral director.
