Joseph (Ross) Galla,52,of 106 Roskovich St.,Arnold City,died Friday,Feb. 2,1968,at 10:45 a.m. in Oakland Veterans Hospital,Pittsburgh,following a short illness. Born in Washington Twp.,Fayette County,August 7,1915,Mr. Galla was a member of the Holy Spirit R.C.Church of Fayette City and a veteran of World War II. He is survived by two daughters, Linda at home,and Mrs. Eugene (Diane) Williams of Fayette City R.D.; one step-son, Edward Baron of Perryopolis;four brothers, Andrew of Perryopolis,John and George,both of Monessen and Eugene of Matawan,N.J.;two sisters, Mrs. Edward (Anna) Zimba of Orlando, Fla.and Mrs. John (Helen) Patrick of Monessen and four grandchildren. His wife, Catherine Bilsky Galla, preceded him in death on Aug. 3,1963. Friends are being received at the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City,where Prayer services will be held Monday,Feb. 5 at 9:30 a.m. followed by Requiem High Mass at 10 a.m. in the Holy Spirit R.C. Church of Fayette City with the Rev. Joseph Tamilowski as clebrant. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Howard W. McCrory,funeral director.
