He was a veteran of World War II;having served with the U.S.Air Force. Born in Washington Twp.;Fayette County on March 12;1914;he was a son of the late Clark and Stella Swoger Glotfelty. Surviving are his widow;Sylvia Smith Glotfelty;two brothers;Lewis of Belle Vernon and Elmer of Brownsville;a stepbrother;Robert Duncan of Raleigh;N.C.;two sisters;Mrs.Harry (Beulah) Roberts of Morgantown;W.Va.;and Mrs.Frank (Martha) Tallerico of Gaithersburg;Md.;one stepsister;Mrs.Walter (Mary Alice) Smith of Newell. Friends are being received at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City. Service there Saturday;Nov.4;at 1:30 p.m.with the pastor of Little Redstone Presbyterian Church at Fayette City officiating. Interment;Belle Vernon Cemetery. Howard W.McCrory is funeral director.
