Obituary

Clarence B.(Clark) Glotfelty,53,of Lowber,Fayette City R.D.1 was dead on arrival at McKeesport Hospital Wednesday,Nov.1,1967,at 3:30 a.m. Mr.Glotfelty was employed as a furnace operator at the U.S.Steel Christy Park Works in McKeesport. He was a veteran of World War II,having served with the U.S.Air Force. Born in Washington Twp.,Fayette County on March 12,1914,he was a son of the late Clark and Stella Swoger Glotfelty. Surviving are his widow,Sylvia Smith Glotfelty,two brothers,Lewis of Belle Vernon and Elmer of Brownsville,a stepbrother,Robert Duncan of Raleigh,N.C.,two sisters,Mrs.Harry (Beulah) Roberts of Morgantown,W.Va.,and Mrs.Frank (Martha) Tallerico of Gaithersburg,Md.,one stepsister,Mrs.Walter (Mary Alice) Smith of Newell. Friends are being received at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City. Service there Saturday,Nov.4,at 1:30 p.m.with the pastor of Little Redstone Presbyterian Church at Fayette City officiating. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery. Howard W.McCrory is funeral director.
