Clarence Gay,78,of Pricedale,a retired coal miner,died Monday, Nov. 14,1966 at 9:15 p.m. in Brownsville General Hospital after a lingering illness. Mr. Gay was a member of United Mine Workers of America. Surviving are his widow, Laura;a step-daughter, Mrs. Willie D. Barber of Chicago, Ill and one grandson. Friends will be received at the William Taylor Funeral Home,Monessen after 7 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral service will take place Thursday,Nov. 17 at 1 p.m. The Rev. Marguerite Henderson will officiate. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. William Taylor is funeral director.
