Born July 15;1892;Mr.Gnoth was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Charleroi. A retired coal miner;he was a member of United Mine Workers of America Local 2244;District 5. Preceded in death by his wife;Anna Buhrie Gnoth in 1952;he is survived by two sons;Edward J.;Charleroi and Walter Gnoth;Chicago;two daughters;Mrs;Raymond (Betty) Sitkowski of Belle Vernon R.D.4 and Martha E.Gnoth;at home;four grandchildren;one great-grandson;three sisters;Mrs.Louis Sichelstiel;Pittsburgh;Mrs.William Norton and Mrs.Clarence Bryce;both of McKeesport. Friends ae being received at the Harold L.Schrock Funeral Home;226 Fallowfield Ave.;Charleroi;from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Services will be held from the funeral home on Wednesday;Sept.30;at 1:30 p.m. The Rev.Francis M.Blair will officiate.
