Chauncey M.Grier;78;of Allenport;died in the Charleroi-Monessen hospital;Thursday;October 30;1958;at 9:05 p.m. He was born in Mercersburg;Pa.;December 5;1879;and had been a resident of Allenport for thirty years. Until eleven years ago;he was employed in the bench room of the Allenport plant of the Pittsburgh Steel Company. He is survived by his wife;Ethel Allinder Grier;one son;Otto L.Grier of Vesta;a daughter;Mrs.Charles (Mavin) Feick;Allenport;and five grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Ferguson Funeral Home. Services will be held there Monday;November 3;1958;at 2 p.m.;in charge of Rev.R.D.McClure of the Roscoe Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson is the funeral director.
