Charles Lloyd Grant of Allison was pronounced dead on arrival at the Brownsville General Hospital on Monday morning, June 30,1958 at 6:45 a.m. He was found in front of a service station in Redstone Township,apparently the victim of a heart attack. Born in Waltersburg,Oct. 4,1916,he was employed as a construction worker. He was the son of the late Charles Grant,and is survived by his mother, Mrs. Anna Spiker Grant;three sisters, Mrs. Mary Shantyfelt of Allison,Georgetta Grant,at home and Mrs. Herbert (Wilda) Davis of Grindstone. Friends are beng received at George M. McCrory Funeral Home, Fayette City. Services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the funeral home. Elder J.W. Winters of the Reorganized Church of Latter Day Saints of Fayette City will officiate and interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
