Mrs. Mabel Gordon,aged 49 years,of House 17,Pricedale,died Saturday,June 4,1955,at 12 p.m. in Charleroi-Monessen hospital after a brief illness. A resident of Belle Vernon and vicinity for the past 26 years,the deceased was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church,Belle Vernon and an usher there. Surviving ae her husband,Arthur Gordon;two sons,Oscar and William Bernard,both at home;two sisters,Kate Sutton,who made her home with the Gordons and Mrs. Mildred Robinson,of Connellsville;and a brother,Robert Sutton,of New Castle. Friends are being received at the late home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday,June 7,at 2 p.m. from the Antioch Baptist Church,Belle Vernon,wth Rev. A.C.Morris officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Beverly C. Draper,funeral director.
