Obituary

Wilbur Daniel Grace,68, a former resident of Union and Parkinson Streets in Monongahela,died Thursday,April 29,1954 at the home of a son in West Virginia.  The remains will be taken on Wednesday to Belle Vernon,where he also lived for a time for burial in the cemetery there. Word of his death was received by Mr. and Mrs. Norman McVicker of Monongahela.  The Grace family removed from Monongahela about 35 years ago. Mr. Grace was born October 14,1887.  He was a member of Morgantown Lodge, F.& A.M.,and of Syria Temple,A.A.O.N.S.S.  He belonged to the Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Alice Katheryn Grace; two sons, Dr. J. E. Grace of Charleston, W.Va. and Dr. W.L. Grace of Chesapeake,Md.;one daughter, Mrs. Robert F. Gleason,an attorney,of Nederland,Tex. and one brother, James M. Grace of McDonald,also a former Monongahelan. Mr. Grace was employed as an accountant for Hillman Coal and Coke Company during his residence in Monongahela.
