Walter J.Felix;70;of 326 Graham St.;Belle Vernon;died Saturday;June 25;1977;at 11:15 a.m.in Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital. Born in Snowden on March 13;1907;he was a son of the late Joseph and Jacobina Weidel Felix. He had resided in Belle Vernon since 1974 and had previously lived in Monessen. Mr.Felix retired in 1972 as a wire drawer with the Page Plant of American Chain and Cable Co. His wife;Sophie Blatt Felix;preceded him in death on April 8;1976. Surviving are two daughters;Mrs.Stephen (Lucille) Druash of Monessen and Mrs.Joseph (Karen) Taravella of Monongahela R.D.1;three brothers;Robert and Ernest Felix;both of Library R.D.;and Albert Felix of Pittsburgh;four sisters;Mrs.James Mead of Elrama;Mrs.Kenneth Hahn of Pittsburgh;Mrs.William Guskey of Venetia and Mrs.Kenneth Koppitz of Finleyville;and three grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Hhome;Belle Vernon;from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. Services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Pastor William M.Jamison of the Christian Center;Rostraver Twp.;officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
