Charles E.Fitzgerald;54;of Fellsburg;was dead on arrival at the Monongahela Division of Mon Valley Hospital on Saturday;March 24;1973 at 11:52 p.m. He was born in Roanoke;Va.;on Sept.29;1918;a son of the late Charles Firtzgerald and Annie Carter Fitzgerald White. He resided in the area for 40 years and in Fellsburg the past 24 years. A veteran of World War II;Mr.Fitzgerald was a retired employee of the Monessen Works of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. Surviving are one son;Charles E.Fitzgerald Jr.of Braddock;one daughter;Mrs.Barbara Bush of Pittsburgh;one brother;Edward Fitzgerald of Donora;one sister;Mrs.Virginia Brown of Pittsburgh and one grandchild. Friends will be received at the Law Funeral Home;Donora;after 7 p.m.Monday. Services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m.at the funeral home with the Rev.W.E.McBrayer;pastor of St.Paul Baptist Church;Donora;officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
