John Fundy;78;of 904 Graham St.;Belle Vernon;died Tuesday;Dec.28;1971;at 8:30 a.m. in Montefiore Hospital;Pittsburgh;after a short illness. He retired in 1959 from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel’s Monessen Plant where he was employed as a craneman in the electrical dept. He was a member of St.Sebastian R.C.Church;Belle Vernon;Italian Society of Mutual Aid;Monessen;and Golder Agers of Belle Vernon. Surviving are his widow;Assunta (Susie) Santoro Fundy;four daughters;Mrs.Louis (Delilah) Stipoli of Monessen;Mrs.Vincent (Eleanor) Marcuso of Belle Vernon;Mrs.Mike (Loretta) Hadjantoni of Detroit;Mich.;Mrs.Walter (Mary) Praskavich of Queens;N.Y.;three sons;Frank of Belle Vernon;Attilio of Novato;Calif.;and Fred of Belle Vernon;20 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received from 7 to 10 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Thursday at the Harold R.Toner Funeral Home;Belle Vernon;where a Rosary will be said Thursday at 8 p.m. Requiem High Mass will be at St.Sebastian R.C.Church;Belle Vernon;Friday;Dec.31;at 10 a.m. with the Rev.Martin J.O’Toole officiating.
