Obituary

Andrew Ferencz,42,of 610 McMahon Ave.,Monessen,died Wednesday,March 26,1969,at 9:10 p.m.in Mercy Hospital,Pittsburgh. Mr.Ferencz was employed in the tin temper department of U.S.Steel's Irvin Works. A member of Holy Name Roman Catholic Church,Monessen,he was a veteran of World War II,having served in the European Theatre. Surviving are his widow,Ann Muzina Ferencz,two daughters,Andrea and Arlene at home,his mother,Mrs.Mary Ferencz at home,two brothers,John of Belle Vernon and William of Manville,N.J.,three sisters,Mrs.Stephen (Ann) Pacak of Monessen,Mrs.Paul (Veronica) Melnick of Cleveland,Ohio and Mrs.Charles (Mary) Doughty of Pittsburgh. Friends are being received at the John L.Kravats Funeral Home,Monessen,after 7 p.m.Friday. Blessing service there Monday,March 31,at 9:30 a.m.followed by Requiem High Mass in Holy Name R.,C.Church,Monessen,at 10 a.m. The Rev.Matthew Yanosek,pastor,will officiate. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery. John L.Kravats is funeral director.
