Spera Frederick;77;of 203 Baltimore St.;Belle Vernon;died Wednesday morning;Aug.21;1968;in Presbyterian-University Hospital;Pittsburgh;after a short illness. A retired coal miner;Mr.Frederick was a member of American Legion Post 659;Sons of Italy;Italian Beneficial Society;all of Belle Vernon;North Italian Political Association of Monessen and Garibaldi Lodge of Dunlevy. Mr.Frederick served in the armed forces in France during World War I. His wife;Flora;died in 1956. Surviving are two daughters;Mrs.Claytton (Myrna) Markham of Bridgeport;Conn.;and Lorraine Frederick of Pittsburgh;five sons;Roger;at home;Roland of Scotts Bluff;Neb.;Raymond;Jordan and William;all of Belle Vernon;fourteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Friends are being received at the Harold R.Toner Funeral Home;Belle Vernon. Requiem High Mass will take place Saturday;Aug.24;at 9:15 a.m.in St.Sebastian R.C.Church;Belle Vernon. The Rev.Martin J.O’Toole;pastor;will act as celebrant. Interment;Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R.Toner is funeral director.
