Obituary

Ferrante Ferrari, 79, of 4 Broad St., Belle Vernon, died Thursday,Feb.22,1968, at 2:45 a.m. in Brownsville General Hospital. He was born in Cutigliano, Italy, on Aug. 10, 1888. Mr. Ferrari was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church and the Italian Beneficial Society, both of Belle Vernon. A World War I veteran, he had been employed 21 years at the old American Window Glass Co., Belle Vernon and for several years by Somers mine at Pricedale. Surviving are his widow, Maria, a son, Fosco of Belle Vernon, two daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Fosca) Frederick and Mrs. Samuel (Deanna) Sergi, both of Belle Vernon, a sister in Italy, and six grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home, Belle Vernon, after 7 p.m.on Feb.22. Service there Saturday,Feb.24,1968,at 9:30 a.m.followed by Requiem High Mass in St.Sebastian R.C.Church,Belle Vernon,at 10 a.m. The Rev.Martin J. O'Toole,pastor will officiate. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson is funeral director.
