James R. Frost,90,of 206 Market St.,Belle Vernon,died Thursday,Feb. 1,1968,at 5:08 p.m. in Haven Crest Nursing and Convalescent Home,Country Club Road,Monongahela R.D. Born in Grays Landing,Pa.,Aug. 22,1877,he had lived in the Belle Vernon area 88 years. Mr. Frost was a member of B.P.O. Elks,Charleroi. His wife,Hattie,died on March 25,1967. Surviving are a son,Robert W. of Jamestown,N.D.;one daughter,Ruth V. Frost at home and a sister, Mrs. Morgan Hartley of Rices Landing. Friends will be received at the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home,Belle Vernon,after 7 p.m. Feb. 3. Service there Monday.Feb. 5,at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Richard B. Snyder,pastor of Belle Vernon's First Methodist Church,officiating. interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D. Ferguson is funeral director.
