Mrs. Sadie Mae Fields,76,of 1134 Schoonmaker Ave.,Monessen died Saturday,Sept. 8,1962,at 6 a.m. in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital following a short illness. She was born in Pittsburgh May 11,1886,but had been a resident of Monessen for many years. Mrs. Fields was a member of the Wayman A.M.E. Church of Monessen. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Helen Taylor of Chicago,ILL.,and Mrs. Thelma Robison of Monessen; two sons,James and Wilbert Green of Monessen; two brothers,Herbert and William Smith of Pittsburgh;14 grandchildren,36 great-grandchildren ane 2 great-great-grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Beverly C. Draper Funeral Home,Monessen,during hours of 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Funeral there Wednesday,September 12,at 11 a.m.in the funeral chapel. The Rev. H.L. Anderson,pastor of the Wayman A.M.E. Church,Monessen,will be in charge. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery. Beverly C. Draper,funeral director.
