Julius Faulks,44,of R.D.1,Charleroi,died Saturday,Aug. 4,1962 at 2:20 p.m. in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. He was born in Statesboro,Ga.,October 22,1917,but had been in the Monessen and Lockview areas for 31 years. Mr. Faulks was a veteran of World War II and employed in the maintenance dept. of the Monessen plant of Pittsburgh Steel Co. Surviving are his widow,Gladys;two daughters, Mrs. Marva Clay of Philadelphia and Diane at home;a son, Julius Jr.,of New York City;a step-daughter,Eugenia Davis at home;three brothers,Vernon and Floyd of Monessen,and Willie of Philadelphia and a niece,Mrs. Dorothy Wilson of Arnold City. Friends are being received at the Beverly C. Draper Funeral Home,Monessen,during hours of 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Services on Wednesday,August 8,at 11 a.m. in Mt. Sinai Baptist Church,Lockview,with the Rev. E. Demps,pastor,as officiant. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery. Beverly C. Draper,funeral director.
