Mrs. Maggie F. Farmer,55,of 100 Leeds Ave.,Monessen,died suddenly Saturday,May 7,1960,at 5:10 p.m. at her home. Mrs. Farmer was a member of the Uunion Baptist Church,Monessen and of Ladies Auxiliary to Elks Okay Lodge 769,Monessen. Surviving are a daughter,Mrs. Harry Anthony (Mary) Grogan of Monessen;two brothers,Clarence Crawley and Carl Crawley Sr.of Monessen;five sisters,Mrs. Ruth Wilson of Charleston,W.Va.,Mrs. Martha Sanifier of Lynchburg,Va.;Mrs. Lockett Peerman of Gladys,Va.;Elsie Crawley of Monessen and Mrs. Minnie Brown of Brooklyn,N.Y.,and four grandchildren. Friends will be received at the DuBoise Carter Funeral Home,Monessen on Monday after 7 o'clock Funeral services will be held Wednesday,May 11,at 11 a.m. from the Union Baptist Church,Monessen with the Rev. E.W. Jarrett officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. DuBoise Carter,funeral director.
