Walter StanleyFarmer,1000 Leeds Ave.,Monessen died Friday,Dec. 27,1957 at 1 a.m. at his home. Mr. Farmer was a member of the Union Baptist Church,Monessen and had been employed for 16 years at the Monessen plant of the Pittsburgh Steel Co. He is survived by his wife,Maggie;a daughter,Mrs. Harry (Mary) Grogan,Monessen;two grandchildren;three sisters,Mrs. Grace Hill of Monessen,Mrs. Lorraine Denson of Pittsburgh and Mrs. Edna Fartts of Cleveland,Ohio;two brothers,Herbert and Steve Farmer,both of Clairton. Friends are being received at the Carter Funeral Home,Monessen,from 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Services will be held Monday,Dec. 30,at 11 a.m. from the Union Baptist Church with the Rev. E.W.Jarrett officiating. Interment will be in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. Duboise Carter, funeral director.
