Mrs.Ruth Hunter Emelo;74;of 806 Conrad Ave.;North Charleroi;died Wednesday;July 4;1973;at 4:30 a.m. in the Golden Age Nursing Home;Brownsville. She was born in Punxsutawney on February 11;1899;the daughter of the late John and Barbara Cook Hunter. Mrs.Emelo was preceded in death by her husband;Frederick;in 1952;a son;Thomas;in 1966 and a grandson;Frederick Samuel in 1946. Surviving are one daughter;Mrs.Lenhart (Elizabeth) Kollar of North Charleroi;with whom she made her home;one brother;Jack Hunter of Baltimore;Md.;one sister;Mrs.Mima Nelson of Frostberg;Md.;four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Friends are being received at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;where services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m.with the Rev.James M.Robbins of Christ Lutheran Church;Charleroi;officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Howard W.McCrory is funeral director in charge.
