S. Jackson (Jack) Echart,77,of 209 Johnson Ave.,Pricedale,died Saturday morning,Sept. 23,1972 at 10:30 a.m. at his home. He was born Sept. 17,1894 in Fairchance,Pa. He had been a resident of the Pricedale area for the past 44 years,was a member of the Pricedale Union Church and had retired in 1964 as an employee of the Rostraver School District. Surviving are his widow,Mary Wood Echart; four sons, Charles of Pricedale,Clarence of Belle Vernon R.D4,Raymond and James, both of Belle Vernon;one daughter,Mrs. Clifford (Doris) Bush of Pricedale and 17 grandchildren. Friends will be received after 7 p.m. Sunday and from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Monday at the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home,Belle Vernon. Services will be held from the funeral home Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Harold Rodebaugh,Pricedale Union Church pastor,officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
