Obituary

Leroy Eisley,of 162 Schoonmaker avenue,Monessen,died Sunday,Oct. 2,1955,at 7:30 a.m. in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. Born and reared in Connellsville,the son of the late Charles and Emma Eisley,the deceased had lived in this vicinity for the past 45 years.  He was a member of the United Presbyterian Church of Monessen,and a member of the Knights of Pythias Lodge.  He had been employed at the Associated Box Co.,New Eagle. Surviving are his wife,Mrs. Catherine Eisley;a daughter,Mrs. John A. Hart Jr.;two grandsons,John and Roger;five sisters,Mrs. D.N. (Elsie) Gilmour,Mrs. Lucille Shaw,Mrs.James (Caroline) Boord and Mrs. J. Thomas (Viva) Watson,all of Monessen,and Mrs. Charles (Ora) Bradley,of North Charleroi;and three brothers,Ralph Eisley,of Monessen,and LLoyd and Albert Eisley,both of Pittsburgh. Friends are being received at the Harper Memorial Chapel,649 McKee avenue,where funeral services will be held Wednesday,Oct. 5,at 2 p.m.  Rev. Neil Stephenson,pastor of the United Presbyterian Church of Monessen will officiate.  Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Harry G. Harper,funeral director.
