Walter J.(Jake) Eisley;57;of Beaver;Pa.;formerly of Monessen;died Wednesday;April 7;1954;in the Rochester General Hospital. Mr.Eisley was born in Connellsvile and had been employed by the Crucible Steel company at Midland;Pa.;for seven years. He was a veteran of World War One. Surviving are four brothers;Leroy;Ralph;Lloyd of Monessen;Albert of Clairton;five sisters;Mrs.D.N.(Elsie) Gilmore;Lucille Shaw;Mrs.James (Caroline) Boord of Monessen;Mrs.Thomas (Viva) Watson of Monessen;Mrs.Charles (Ora) Bradley;North Charleroi;and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Rhome Funeral Home during visiting hours of 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 o’clock. Services will be held there Saturday;April 10;1954;at 2 p.m.;in charge of Rev.Neil M.Stevenson of the Monessen United Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
