Obituary

Carl Wayne Duda of Route 88,North Charleroi,died in Presbyterian University Hospital,Pittsburgh,at 3:45 a.m.Wednesday,January 19,1977,as a result of injuries received in an accident on Jan.2.  Mr.Duda,28,was injured while unloading a water tank truck at a residence on Craven Hill.  He was born in North Charleroi on May 21,1948,son of Carl and Jennie Park Duda of Fairhope.  He was a millwright apprentice at the Irvin Works of United States Steel.  Mr.Duda was a social member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3557,Fairhope,and belonged to the Fayette Dairy Goat Association.  Surviving,in addition to his parents,are his widow,Jacqueline McLain Duda,one son,Carl David,and two daughters,Donna Rae and Candace Dione,all at home,one brother,Edward James Duda of Charleroi,one sister,Mrs.Thomas (Mary Lou) Price of Roscoe,and his maternal grandmother,Mrs.Lula Park of Belle Vernon.   Friends will be received at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City,after 7 p.m.Thursday.  Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 1:30 p.m.with Dr.Allen Howes of Pittsburgh officiating.  Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Howard W. McCrory is funeral director in charge.
