Obituary

Eva Geeza Dudick,83,of 106 Fayette St.,Belle Vernon,died Thursday,Aug.7,1975,at 2:30 p.m.in Brownsville General Hospital after a brief illness. She was born in Poland on Oct.3,1892,and had lived in Belle Vernon the past 65 years. Mrs.Dudick was a member of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church,Lynnwood,and St.Barbara's Ladies Guild of the church. A son,1st Lt.William Dudick was killed June 3,1951,while serving with the U.S.Air Force and her husband,John Dudick,died April 29,1973. Surviving are a daughter,Mrs.George (Louise) Zureinsky of Akron,Ohio,two sons,Metro Dudick of Fellsburg and John Dudick Jr.of Akron,Ohio,five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Gerald R.Essey Funeral Home,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,from 7 to 9 p.m.Friday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Saturday. The body will lie in state at Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church,Lynnwood,from 12 noon Sunday until 2 p.m.that day,the time of services. Officiating will be the Rev.John Kluchko,pastor. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Parastas services will be held at the funeral home on Friday and Saturday evenings at 8. Gerald R.Essey is funeral director in charge.
