She was born in Belle Vernon on April 28;1900 and was a member of St.Sebastian Catholic Church and the Anita Garibaldi Society;both of Belle Vernon. She was preceded in death by her husband;Joseph DeSimone;in 1966;and by a son;Tony;on Aug.9;1974. Surviving are two sons;Samuel S.DeSimone of Versailles Borough and Ernest J.DeSimone of Alameda;Calif.;two daughters;Mrs.Leo (Rose) Traversari of Monessen and Mrs.Theresa Checchi of Belle Vernon;five brothers;John Nicoletti;Thomas Nicoletti;Frank Nicoletti;Louis Nicoletti and Ernest Nicoletti;all of Lorain;Ohio;three sisters;Mrs.Gilda Mariotto and Mrs.Florence Ardot;both of Lorain;Ohio;and Mrs.Jennie Cicci of Los Angeles;Calif.;12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;Belle Vernon;where prayers will be recited on Tuesday at 11 a.m.;followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m.in St.Sebastian Catholic Church;Belle Vernon.
