A.Edward Dreyer;84;of 1228 Fayette Ave.;Belle Vernon died Friday;April 21;1972 at 1:55 p.m.in the Somerset State Hospital;Somerset;Pa. Mr.Dreyer;a retired meat cutter who operated his own business in Belle Vernon for many years;was born in Fayette City on Aug.13;1887;the son of the late Frederick and Anne E.Winklevoss Dreyer. He was a member of the Belle Vernon United Presbyterian Church;past master of the Gummert Lodge No.252;F&AM of Fayette City;and a member of the Royal Arch Chapter of Monessen;the Knights Templer of Charleroi;Lodge of Perfection of Uniontown and the Scottish Rite and Syria Shrine of Pittsburgh. Survivors include his widow;Edna L.Hough Dreyer and two brothers;Herman C.Dreyer of Los Angeles;Calif.;and Christian W.Dreyer of Fayette City. Friends will be received at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;334 Main St.;Fayette City beginning at noon on Sunday;April 23;1972 where Masonic services will be held on Monday;April 24;1972 at 7:30 p.m.with the Rev.H.D.Hough;pastor of the Leechburg United Presbyterian Church;officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Howard W.McCrory;funeral director in charge.
