Anthony DeFazio;64; of 434 Green St.;Belle Vernon; died Saturday;November 13;1971 at 9:30 p.m. in Charleroi- Monessen Hospital. Born in Fayette City on Nov. 14;1906;Mr.DeFazlo lived most of his life in Belle Vernon and was a member of the Sons of Italy lodge there. He had retired as a welder at the Pillsburgh and Lake Erie Railroad’s Glassport yards.
Surviving are his widow;Mrs. Mary Falbo DeFazio;two sons; DonaId A. of Munhall and Thomas A. of North Versailles;one daughter;Mrs.Edward (Betty) Blacka of Plum Borough;two sisters;Mrs. Henry Evans and Mrs.Guido Simboli;both of Belle Vernon;and five grandchildren.
Friends are being received from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Monday at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;Belle Vernon;where services will be held Tuesday;Nov.16;1971;at 1:30 p.m. The Rev.R.O. Broekhuizen;pastor of the Christian Reformed Church of Washington;will officiate. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson;funeral director in charge.
