Mrs.Pauline Horner Dix;73;of 280 State St.;Clairton;died Saturday;April 24;1971;at her residence. She was born June 24;1897;in Manassas;Va.;a daughter of the late Archie Gaskins and Mary Johnson Gaskins. Prior to moving to Clairton 20 years ago;she lived in Charleroi. She was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church in Clairton. Surviving are her husband;James Albert Dix;one son;Clarence Slu Horner of Charleroi R.D.1;seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends will be received beginning Wednesday afternoon at the Mt.Sinai Baptist Church;Charleroi;where services will be held Thursday;April 29;1971;at noon with the Rev.E.W.Demps officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Walter S.Waters Funeral Home;Clairton;in charge of arrangements.
