Rene F.Driesen;65;of 576 Conrad Ave.;North Charleroi;died Sunday;Nov.23;1969 at 6 p.m.at Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. Mr.Driesen was born in Belle Vernon;Dec.6;1903;a son of the late Frank A.and Marie Schruers Driesen. He retired as an electrician from U.S.Steel’s Donora Works in 1965. His sister;Edmee Louise Wright died in 1955. Survivors include his widow;Hannah Jean (Johnston) Driesen;two sons;Conrad F.;of Canonsburg and Lloyd J.;of Monessen;one daughter;Mary;of Monessen;one sister;Mrs.Christine Dobos of Belle Vernon;one brother;George P.;of Belle Vernon and one granddaughter. Friends will be received at the Edwin F.Melenyzer Funeral Home;Monessen after 7 p.m.on Monday and 2-5 and 7-10 p.m.on Tuesday where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m.with the Rev.Charles Colas;of the First Baptist Church of Belle Vernon officiating.
