Kenneth V. Davis,61,of Monongahela R.D.1,died suddenly Sunday,Nov. 1,1964,at 9:30 p.m. at his home. Born in Pavo,Ga.,May 17,1903,he had been a valley resident since 1923,coming from Georgia. Mr. Davis retired from the Donora plant of United States Steel. He was a member of St. Paul's Baptist Church, Donora. Surviving are his widow, Ollie; one son, Kenneth Jr.of Charleston,W.V.,; two daughters, Jean of Charleston and Mrs. James (Lola) Sullivan of Sandusky,Ohio; one brother, Menter of Detroit,Mich.,three sisters, Mary Lee Davis of Donora,Mrs. Beatrice Starcy and Mrs. Frankie Agee,both of Detroit and two grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Percy Law Funeral Home,Donora,after 7 p.m. Wednesday,Nov. 4. Funeral services will be held Friday, Nov. 6. 1964 at 1 p.m. in St. Paul Baptist Church,Donora, the Rev. W.E. McBrayer,pastor,officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Percy Law,funeral director, in charge.
