James A.Davis;75;of Fayette City R.D.1 (Fairhope);died suddenly at his late home Thursday;Jan.24;1963;at 9:10 p.m. He was born in Pennsylvania on Nov.15;1887;the son of the late David A.and Mary A.Jordon Davis. Mr.Davis was a World War I veteran;having served with the U.S.Army;and a retired coal miner. Surviving are a foster daughter;Mrs.Paul (Bernie May) Deneen of Fayette City R.D.;two sisters;Mrs.Harry (Nellie) Roley of Arnold City;and Mrs.Ava Bashline of Rimersburg;Pa. Friends are being received at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;where services will be held Monday;Jan.28;at 1:30 p.m.with the Rev.W.D.Roley;of Fayette City;officiating.
