Minnie Contz;61;of Belle Vernon Apartments;died Wednesday;Aug.18;1976;at 4:18 p.m. in Monsour Hospital;Jeannette. She was born Oct.14;1914 in Pricedale;the daughter of the late Frank and Minnie Toth Contz. She was a member of St.Sebastian’s Catholic Church;Belle Vernon;and retired June 7;1974 from the Belle Vernon Area School District after 38 years of service. Preceding her in death were one sister;Julia Holesapple;who died on Oct.6;1974;and one brother;Joseph Contz;who died Jan.14;1976. Survivors include two brothers;Frank Contz of Ambridge and Julius W.(Bounce) Contz of Belle Vernon R.D.1 and one sister;Mrs.Margaret Houlis of Monessen. Friends will be received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Prayer services will be held Saturday Aug.21;1976 at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home;followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St.Sebastian’s Catholic Church;Belle Vernon.
