Frank Cvetan;89;of Cook St.Extension;Navajo Hollow;Fayette City;died Friday;January 9;1976;at 9 a.m.in Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital following a lengthy illness. Born March 3;1886;in Yugoslavia;Europe;he had spent the greater part of his adult life in this country;mostly in the Fayette City area. A retired coal miner;he was a member of the United Mine Workers of America. Mr.Cvetan was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church of Fayette City. His wife;Katheryn;preceded him in death in 1975. Surviving are three sons;Rudolph of Braznell;Frank of Sun City;Ariz.;and Joseph of Monessen;one daughter;Mrs.Barbara Rade;also of Monessen;and eight grandchildren. Friends will be received beginning at 2 p.m.;Saturday in the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Main St.Fayette City;where a prayer service will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m.followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Spirit Catholic Church;with the Rev.Thomas Rinn as the celebrant. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. A Parish Rosary service will be held Sunday at 7:30 p.m.in the funeral home. Howard W.McCrory is the funeral director in charge.
