Betty T.Carson died Saturday;February 1;1975;at her residence;7630 South Cornell;Chicago;Ill.;after a brief illness. A former resident of Browsville;she was 46. She was born Oct.3;1928;in Brownsville. Mrs.Carson was a member of Prince Hall Affiliation of the Order of Eastern Star. She is survived by her husband;James Carson;two sons;Dwayne Holbrook and James Carson;both of Chicago;Ill.;one daughter;Mrs.Linda Williams of Chicago;Ill.;her father;Londrue Thompson of Grindstone;three brothers;Floyd Thompson of Clairton;Curtis Thomspson of Steubenville;Ohio and Donald Thompson of Grindstone;five sisters;Mildred Skelton of Chicago;Ill.;Lois Johnson and Dorothy Beasley;both of Buffalo;N.Y.;Darlene Thompson of Albuquerque;N.M.and Diane Grooms of Kansas City;Mo.;and six grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Pleasant Green AME Church;Pricedale;from 2 to 9 p.m.Thursday. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m.at the church with the Rev.Bertha Sydnor;pastor;officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
