Mr.Clark was born in Davis Station;S.C.;May 30;1919;a son of the late Peter and Harriet Mack Clark. He had been a Valley resident since 1926 and was a graduate of Rostraver High School. He was employed at Bethlehem Steel’s Mine No.60 in Cokeburg. A veteran of World War II;he was a member of Antioch Baptist Church;Belle Vernon;and Twin City Lodge No.67 F&AM. Survivors include his widow;Mildred Carson Clark;one son;Bruce;at home;one daughter;Paula;at home;one brother;Edmund of Belle Vernon;three sisters;Mamie Greene of Columbus;Ohio;Annie Ruth Robinson and Ovella Benjamin of Pricedale. Friends will be received at the William R.Taylor Funeral Home;Monessen;after 7 p.m.Thursday;July 16. The remains will be moved to Antioch Baptist Church;Belle Vernon;at 2 p.m.Friday;July 12. Services will be held at the church at 1 p.m.Saturday;July 18;with the rev.A.C.Morris;pastor;officiating. Intement will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. William R.Taylor;funeral director.
