Edward Cox;64;of 701 Washington Ave.;Charleroi;was found dead in a second-floor bedroom of his home at 7:10 p.m.Wednesday;March 25;1970. After Charleroi police investigated;Deputy Coroner Harold L.Schrock of Charleroi pronounced Mr.Cox dead of natural causes. Mr.Cox had not been seen since Monday. Mr.Cox was a member of St.James A.M.E.Church;Charleroi;and retired in June;1968;from the open hearth department of the Monessen Works of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. He has no known survivors. Friends will be received at Beverly C.Draper Funeral Home;Monessen;after 7 p.m.March 26. Service Saturday;March 28;at 11 a.m.in St.James AME Church;Charleroi;with the Rev.Edward Ford;pastor;officiating. Interment;Belle Vernon Cemetery. Beverly C.Draper is funeral director.
