Anthony Canzonieri;of 61 Marion Villa;Washington Twp.;died Tuesday;July 30;1968;in the Charleroi-Monessen Hospital after a lengthy illness. Mr.Canzonieri was born in Charleroi;Oct.10;1914. He was the son of the late Diago Canzonieri. He was a Veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion Post 22 in Charleroi. He was a truck driver. Survivors include his widow;Gladys Habaugh Canzonieri;his mother;Maria of Allenport;two brothers;Serafino A.of Paoli;Ind.and Lt.Col.Jack V.of U.S.Marines Corp.;Springfield;Va.;three sisters;Mrs.Nicholas (Antoinette) Matz of Long Branch;Mary;at home and Mrs.Richard (Anna) Lathrop of Southbury;Conn. Friends are being received at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City where services will be held Friday;Aug.2;1968;at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev.A.Dickerson of the Bible Baptist Church of Belle Vernon officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
