Clinton Crenshaw Sr.,71,of 1049 Highland Ave.,Monessen,died Tuesday, March 19,1968.at 8:45 p.m. in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital,where he had been a patient for a week. Born in Atlanta, Ga.,Sept. 6,1896,he had lived in Monessen since 1919. Mr. Crenshaw worked in the wire mill of the Monessen plant of Pittsburgh Steel Co.,retiring in 1964. He was a member of I.B.P.O.E. of W.,No.67,Monessen. Surviving are his widow, Rosetta;four sons, Leroy Stamper of Detroit, Mich.,Carl Payne of Monessen,Bernard Crenshaw of Pittsburgh,and Clnton Crenshaw Jr. at home and eight grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Beverly C. Draper Funeral Home,Monessen,after 1 p.m. March 21. Service Saturday March 23 at 11 a.m. in Fellowship Baptist Church, Monessen,with the Rev. D.D. Chatman,pastor,officiating. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Beverly C. Draper is the funeral director.
