Conrad Coleman,87,of 619 Marguerite Ave.,Monessen, died Friday March 15,1968 at 10:05 p.m. in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital after a short illness. Educated in Virginia, Mr. Coleman was a member of Union Baptist Church of Monessen and a retired employee of the Monessen Page plant of American Chain and Cable Co. His wife, Phoebe, died in May,1966. Surviving are several nephews and nieces,including Mrs. Elsie Garrison of Philadelphia. Friends will be received at the William R. Taylor Funeral Home,Monessen,after 7 p.m. March 18 and therafter from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Service Thursday,March 21,at 1:30 p.m. from Union Baptist Church,Monessen. The Rev. P.L. Greene,pastor of Mt. Zion Baptist Church at Connellsvile,will officiate. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. William R. Taylor is funeral director.
