Matthew Curry Jr.,58,of Fayette City R.D.1,was dead on arrival at Charleroi-Monessen Hospital, Friday, June 16,1967 at 3a.m. Mr. Curry was self-employed as an auto mechanic. He was born in England on Jan. 4,1909, a son of Jane Plues Curry and the late Matthew Curry Sr. Surviving are his widow, Mary Baldwin Curry;three sons, Matthew III, Thomas and Daniel and four daughters,,Lois,Jane,Karen and Betty,all at home; a step-daughter,Mrs. Carole Taylor of Silver Spring, Md.;his mother,Mrs. Jane Curry of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.;three brothers, George of Belle Vernon, William of Fort Lauderdale and Robert of Glendale, Calif.;a sister, Mrs. Donald Aldous of Fayette City R.D. and one granddaughter. Friends are being received at the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City. Services will be held there Monday, June 19,at 1:30 p.m.,in charge of the Rev. David Snyder,pastor of the Fayette City Christian Church. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Howard W. McCrory of Fayette City is the funeral director.
