Daniel Peter Cowan (Kiaune),91,of Fairhope,died suddenly at his home on Friday, July 5,1963. He was born in Lithuania on Dec. 21,1871. He was a member of the Lithuanian Alliance of America and was a retired United Mine Worker. He is survived by his widow, Agnes Cowan, two sons, Daniel of Chicago, Ill. George of Perryopolis,R.D.2;three daughters,Mrs. Peter (Natalie) Wentcelovitch,of Detroit, Mich.,Mrs. David (Helen)Cernicky of Belle Venron,Mrs. Geore (Anges) Lucas of Finleyville, 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home,Belle Vernon. Requiem Mass will be sung in St. Sebastian R.C.Church,Belle Vernon,Monday,July 8,at 10 a.m. by the Rev. Martin J. O'Toole. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D. Ferguson of Belle Vernon is the funeral director.
