Nicholas Carroll,73, 1216 First Ave., Coraopolis,died Friday, March 7,1958, at 8:45 a.m. at the home of his brother, John,with whom he resided. Born in Elizabeth,May 2,1884,he had formerly lived in Pricedale for 20 years,from 1900 to 1920. He had been employed as a coal miner. Along with his brother,John,he is survived by a brother Joseph of Ellwood City. Friends will be received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home, Broad Ave., Belle Vernon,after 7 p.m. on Friday, Funeral home visiting hours are from 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.
