Charles W.Carnes,62,of Belle Vernon,R.D.1,died Sunday August 7,1955,at his home. A native of Belle Vernon and resident of that community all of his life,he was rigger foreman at the Page plant of the American Chain and Cable Company at Monessen. He is survived by a daughter,Mrs. Gwen Jones and two granddaughters,all at home. Friends are being received at the Check Home for Funerals from 2 to 5 p.m.and from 7 to 10 p.m.,where funeral services will be held Thursday,August 11 at 1:30 p.m. in charge of the Rev .Arthur J.Morley,of the Trinity Episcopal Church.
