Obituary

Samuel Causer of Fourth Street Extension,North Charleroi,died at his home,Friday,April 1,1955,at 11:50 a.m. He was born in England,January 4,1892,and was a resident of North Charleroi for four years,coming here from Portage,Pa. He was employed as a coal miner. A veteran of World War One,he served with the United States Army as a Private with the 68th Company,17th Battalion,153DB,168th Inf.,42nd Division. He is survived by five sons,Eugene,Samuel,Jr.,Frederick,Robert and Richard of North Charleroi,ond daughter,Mrs.Irene Killinger,two sisters,and one grandchild. Friends will be received at the Francis C.Slezak Funeral Home. Services will be held there Tuesday,April 5,1955,at 2 p.m.in charge of Rev.Joseph N.Wittkofski. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Francis C.Slezak is the funeral director.
