George Coates, Cook street extension. Fayette City, died Tuesday, Mar. 30, 1954 at 11:15 a. m. at his late home. Born in Poland, the deceased would have been 80 years of age tomorrow. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Frank (Pauline) Korch,of McKeesport, Mrs. Frank (Mary) Kauffman, of Longhorn, Pa., Mrs. Charles (Rose) Homamics, and Mrs. Michael (Helen) Yetsconish, both of Fayette City, and Blanche, at home; seven sons, Charles and Joseph, both of Aliquippa, Michael, Frank, Peter; and Thomas, all of Fayette City, and Stanley, of Arnold City; 18 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. Friends are being received at the McCrory Funeral Home, Fayette City. Services will be held there Friday,April 2,1954,at 9 a.m.,in charge of Rev.Gregory Soroka of the Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. George M.McCrory and son are the funeral directors.
