Obituary
Allen Couts, aged 58 years,236 Page street,died Tuesday,Jan. 19,1954,at 8:10 a.m. in Aspinwall Hospital. He had been employed at the local Pittsburgh Steel Co. plant for the past 35 years. Surviving are five sisters,Mrs. Roena Patterson and Mrs. Flossie Chentam,both of Springfield,Tenn.,Mrs. Geneva Weakley,of Memphis,Tenn.,Mrs. Lovie May Johnson and Mrs. Louvenia Dranyhom both of the state of Indiana;three brothers, Wylie Couts,of New York City,Eppolar Couts,of Indiana and Harwie Couts,of Springfield,Tenn.and 27 nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Carter Funeral Home,McMahon avenue,between the hours of 1 and 5 and 7 and 10 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday,Jan.22,at 11 a.m. from the funeral home,with Rev. P.L. Green officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. DuBoise H. Carter,funeral director.
