A well-known Belle Vernon phyician died Sunday night,June 21,1953 in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. Dr George T. Crosbie, 77, of 636 Broad avenue, Belle Vernon, a practicing physician in Belle Vernon for almost 50 years, died at 9 p. m. Born in Cincinnati, O., Dr Crosbie was graduated from Ohio State University in 1898. He first started his medical practice in Fayette City, coming to Belle Vernon in 1905. He retired in 1948, after nearly 50 years of practice. He was a member of the Christian Church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Anna Crosbie and a brother-in-law. Dr. O J. Kreger, Sr., of Monessen. Friends are being received at the late home, where funeral services will be held Wednsday at 2 p. m with the Rev George Kress, of Crossroads Pleasant Hill Parish officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
