Lenora B.Baird;81;of Allenport;died Thursday;June 9;1977;at 7:55 a.m. in Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital. She was born May 5;1896 in Bellefonte;Pa.;a daughter of the late John and Hannah Thompson. Mrs.Baird was a member of the Allenport Methodist Church and was a former Charleroi resident. She was preceded in death by a son;Jack Baird;in July 1975. Surviving are her widower;Raymond M.Baird;four daughters;Mrs.Virginia H.Burry;with whom she made her home;Mrs.Vivian Hite of Belle Vernon;Mrs.Clifford (Grace) Shrader of Monessen and Mrs.Sheldon (Geraldine) Morningstar of Wilkinsburg;two brothers;Edward Thompson of Clairton and Frank Thompson of Uniontown;two sisters;Mrs.Rebecca Kisner of Brownsville and Mrs.Sara Pogue of Bedford;Pa.;12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held Saturday;June 11;1977 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home;the Rev.Charles H.A.Woods of the New Hope Parish officiating. Burial will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson is funeral director in charge of arrangements.
